MY STATEMENT ABOUT THE ALLEGED NEW JAMES COMEY INDICTMENT
First, *nobody* has seen this alleged indictment. So it may or may not even be a thing – it may be another distraction, or it may actually exist (which of course doesn’t preclude it being a distraction).
*If* it exists, and *if* it’s based on what the “unnamed person who is not authorized to disclose the indictment” claims, which is that James Comey was threatening Trump when he posted a picture of seashells on a beach spelling out 8647, well, that is one of the flimsiest accusations from an administration which has excelled at filing flimsy, laughable accusations which they can’t possibly hope to even keep from getting dismissed, let alone win.
(On the other hand, it does seem to be the case that they are genuinely unacquainted with the 1st Amendment – someone should introduce them.)
It’s almost like the DOJ attorneys and ‘leadership’ (and I use the term oh-so-loosely) are trying to stay busy so they don’t get fired.
I *do* however have an example, fresh from this week, of a laughable court filing from this administration – the new “why we need the Court to let the ballroom go forward” motion, which I’ll be writing up and providing to you anon.
