Well, this isn’t good. The Trump administration has filed an emergency application with the U.S. Supreme Court after a federal appeals court blocked key parts of its executive order restricting mail-in voting. The administration is now asking the justices to allow the order to take effect ahead of the midterm elections, despite lower courts ruling that key provisions exceed presidential authority.
