We wanted to amplify this because it’s genuinely sad that this isn’t how America’s 250th birthday is unfolding. America’s 250th birthday should have been about bringing people together through our shared culture, history, music, art, and traditions. It should have been a celebration that reminded us of everything that connects us as a nation a moment to showcase the incredible diversity and creativity of the American people. That would have been a celebration worthy of this historic milestone.
