Trump ordered the National Park Service to spend $5 million on a project to paint four horse statues using 23.75-karat gold leaf. This money was intended to maintain our national parks, but instead it’s being spent on gold paint for statues.
At a time when many Americans are struggling and our national parks need billions of dollars in repairs and maintenance, this is where taxpayer money is going.
Not just wasteful. Trump wasteful.
