To put things into context: Neither Trump nor Miller are lawyers – neither has even been to law school. So when they come up with “good ideas”, and then Trump issues orders to execute those “good ideas”, the DOJ is the agency that has to defend those “good ideas”, even when they are stunningly *not* good ideas, not legal, and not allowed under the Constitution. It’s not even that Trump and Miller don’t care whether the things are legal, it’s that they have NFI what’s legal and what isn’t, and they don’t care that they don’t know; Todd will take care of it for them if there are legal issues. (Do you imagine for one moment that Trump asks “Is this legal? Can I do this?”) BUT the Courts are having none of it, and we are seeing time after time that the *Courts* care very much whether or not those “good ideas” are legal, and the Courts are ruling in the overwhelming majority of the cases against this administration (over 500 and counting) that they are *not* legal. AND the administration *does* follow court orders (so stop spreading the misinformation that they don’t) – yes they appeal them, and injunctions get stayed while the Court hears arguments on the facts and merits of the case, so it may *look* like they aren’t following court orders, but they are.
