This is just relentless. They can’t stop burning taxpayer money on political revenge. A Trump administration official filed two criminal referrals yesterday against New York AG Letitia James coming just months after the Justice Department struck out for the third time in its ongoing effort to prosecute one of Trump’s most prominent targets.
Federal Housing Finance Agency Director Bill Pulte is behind the referrals, alleging James committed insurance fraud. Specifically, he claims she may have falsified occupancy information on homeowner’s insurance applications for two properties she owns in Norfolk, Virginia.
