This is interesting. More than 200 of the world’s political, financial, and tech elites registered for a private retreat organized by Dialog, the secretive invitation-only network co-founded by billionaire investor Peter Thiel.

According to reporting, the retreat’s agenda covered an astonishing range of topics from panels on cult-building and sex to discussions about preparing for a potential World War III scenario. Attendees also reportedly had access to an associated app that offered networking and even matchmaking features.

Dialog has operated largely out of public view since 2006, quietly bringing together influential figures from government, Silicon Valley, finance, and academia for off-the-record gatherings. The organization has historically declined to publicly disclose its membership or attendees.

Private gatherings of powerful leaders are nothing new. But when elected officials, billionaires, and industry leaders meet behind closed doors with little public transparency, it naturally raises questions about accountability and influence. Who gets a seat at the table and how much do these relationships shape the world the rest of us live in?

The recently exposed records offer a rare glimpse into networks that have largely operated in secrecy for nearly two decades.

According to WIRED, the leaked records included or referenced people such as:

– Peter Thiel
– Scott Bessent
– Ted Cruz
– Jim Himes
– Alexus Grynkewich
– Dan Driscoll
– Joe Lonsdale
– Auren Hoffman
– Jonathan Greenblatt
– Peter Goettler
– Ryan Stowers
– Roger Myerson
– Randy Kroszner
– Hallie Hoffman
– Tom Lue
– Souad Mekhennet

They also reported that the membership included officials tied to organizations such as Palantir Technologies, Google DeepMind, the Anti-Defamation League, and the Charles Koch Foundation.
