Something is odd here. After shots were fired at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Trump posted on Truth Social recommending they “LET THE SHOW GO ON.” He also says the shooter was “apprehended” contradicting earlier reports that the shooter was dead. If shots were fired in the lobby of the Washington Hilton, that’s a crime scene. Standard protocol would require securing the entire venue, interviewing witnesses, and confirming there was only one shooter before anyone goes anywhere. Resuming a dinner party after a shooting at an event with the President, VP, and most of the cabinet in the room would be extraordinary. Something doesn’t add up yet.
