I want to go on the record as saying I do not appreciate getting text messages or emails wishing me happy birthday from services I have or even have not frequented. When I see that text message notification, especially on my birthday, I look forward to seeing what friend or family member has remembered my birthday and reached out to wish me a good day. It’s disappointing to see it is just an automated bot set up by a service, usually without my consent. :~(
Also, get off my lawn.
