I HAVE THE LETTERS THAT NATALIE HARP WROTE TO TRUMP – THEY’RE NAUSEATING – AND A DISTURBING VIEW INTO TRUMP’S INNER CIRCLE
by Anne P. Mitchell, Esq. – attorney, law professor emeritus, and author of Federal law
You may have heard the name Natalie Harp in recent days, and may be wondering who she is. Her two (!) titles are Special Assistant to the President *and* Executive Assistant to the President. But it seems that her *actual* job titles should be Sycophant in Waiting and Chief Ego Fluffer.
You see, Natalie Harp is the person of whom the New York Times says “Even in this West Wing, in which loyalty to the president seems to know no bounds, Ms. Harp’s displays of devotion have unnerved some of her colleagues,” citing as an example that “Once, when Mr. Trump was playing golf in Scotland, she ran behind his cart to keep him up to date with positive stories and social media posts.”
But perhaps the most chilling is this, also from the NYT:
“But her direct relationship with Mr. Trump means that she has often operated largely outside the supervision of more senior aides, a situation that has at times raised alarms among some members of his inner circle who would like to see tighter control of what information he is receiving. When people seeking influence with Mr. Trump want to turn him against their rivals, they send damaging clips to Ms. Harp, knowing she will pass them along, unvetted.”
She has, it seems, out Laura-Loomered even Laura Loomer.
She also wrote a series of letters to Trump, two of which have been outed by author Michael Wolff. These two letters are a gushing, and revealing, 1-2 series, the first one an apology, and the second one the “note I wanted to write (But the apology needed to come first.)”
The NYT first broke the story of the letters in November of 2024, just after the 2024 election. The Times says of the letters that their authenticity was confirmed by two different people.
But it was only just this past month, when the Daily Beast reported on them, that the letters really started getting attention.
And I have them.
I’ve transcribed the full letters to PDF for Notes from the Front members; they contain some really … interesting… and revealing things.
Among many other things, from the first letter:
“I never want to bring you anything but joy. I’m sorry I lost my focus. You are all that matters to me.”
And from the second letter:
“So many times, I’m just trying to stay afloat with all that’s coming in for you, I look like a hunchback who didn’t have time to freshen up (at least you know what I should look like)!”
And adding:
“I miss the days when you used to call, during my Talkshow days, and we’d talk about everything and nothing.”
BUT! It is *this* passage here that I find most… revealing, and layered revelations at that:
“I had no idea how rapidly I was approaching burnout, and starting to envy those whose only “job” seems to be to talk with you, and look pretty. I want that job!!”
WOW! How many different layers do *you* see in this one sentence??
By the way, in the first letter you will see references to Margo and John. Margo is press and communications aide Margo Martin; I couldn’t figure out who John is, so I’m not going to guess, although it’s possible that he is an aide given the context.

P.S. If you actually read all the way to the bottom please leave a sentence in a comment that includes the word “fluffy”. It will show me that my efforts aren’t in vain and that people actually *do* read these things, and it will drive those who just skim crazy wondering just why everyone is talking about fluffy things! ;~)
