I HAVE A 114-PAGE BATCH OF DOCUMENTS THAT INCLUDE EPSTEIN’S PLEA, SENTENCE COMPUTATION, JAIL INTAKE, ORIGINAL INDICTMENT, ARREST WARRANT, HIS PRETRIAL “BE A GOOD BOY” AGREEMENT, AND SO MUCH MORE!
Where, you may wonder, did I get these? I won’t tell you exactly, but I will tell you it was directly from an involved source.
Do you remember the six police interviews of the victims and recruiters that I sent out to you, culminating in the request to the Court, by the police, for a search warrant?
Well, this is the outcome: the arrest of Epstein, then of course the months of legal wrangling and, ultimately, his plea bargain that got him time in the Florida jail instead of the Federal pen. This batch includes the actual form they used to compute his jail time, his own plea agreement where he had to initial nine statements giving up his right to a trial and essentially admitting (while not stating it outright) that he was guilty of felony solicitation), and lots, lots more.
It also includes what I refer to as his “be a good boy” agreement to which he had to agree during the time after his arrest and before the finalization of the plea agreement in order to remain free until his plea agreement went into effect. This is known as a Pretrial Intervention Program, and it includes that he “won’t use intoxicants to excess”; will submit to urinalysis, breathalyzer, and blood tests as requested by his pretrial intervention officer; will submit to polygraphs (lie detector tests); will not possess firearms, and more – it’s basically like pre-trial probation. And then… there’s this interesting requirement:
“Mr. Epstein will provide an admission that will be maintained in the State Attorney’s Office file admitting that he knowingly, intentionally, and willfully solicited women for prostitution on three occasions as contained in the Indictment in Case No. 06-9454 CF A99. This admission will be provided to the State Attorney’s Office to be used only in the unlikely event that there is a violation of the pretrial intervention agreement and the case is referred to the court system for prosecution.”
It seems as if Florida, having this guy pawned off on them, is trying to at least nominally do the right thing.
There are many more documents in here (again, 114 pages); some of them having to do with victims who were being called to testify asking to be anonymous, and then withdrawing the request because with the plea deal there was no longer a need for them to testify.
Do be warned that there is also the full complaint of one of the victims against Epstein, Sarah Kellen, and Haley Robson, and it’s … descriptive.
