I DON’T KNOW WHY PEOPLE ARE SURPRISED THAT EPSTEIN WAS INVITED TO THE DIALOG NETWORK WORKSHOP
Dialog was co-founded by Peter Thiel in 2006. For a while Thiel and Epstein were thick as thieves, we know this from the many emails between them that we have in our possession. However the evidence suggests that Thiel himself stopped attending at some point, and certainly by 2018. Remember to stop and think about whether an association such as this, on its own, means *anything*. After all, I spent three years in the same place as Thiel (we were law school classmates); there really isn’t much you can make of that except that we happened to be in the same entering/graduating class at Stanford. Remember, correlation in and of itself does not equal – well, much of anything other than correlation.
