I am excited to announce the National Cat Behavior Helpline, founded by my partner, cat behavior expert Matt Wildman, and myself! The Helpline provides free phone-based cat behavior assistance to cat parents, cat adopters & fosters to help keep cats in their homes & out of shelters! This is a project of Safe Haven Farm Sanctuary and a crucial surrender prevention resource to which over 25 shelters & rescues are now referring clients. RIGHT NOW, WE SEEK MORE VOLUNTEERS for the Helpline! You will be fully trained at no cost to you, after which you will be able to take helpline calls from the comfort of your own home, and help cats and people stay together, preventing surrenders & returns for resolvable behavior issues, lowering the cat intake rate at overcrowded shelters and rescues. ** Please comment below or DM me if you would like more information on how to become a National Cat Behavior Helpline Volunteer!
