According to a spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, an individual was shot near milepost 15 on West Arivaca Road in southern Pima County around 7:30 a.m. The person’s identity has not been released. The incident was reported by the Santa Rita Fire District, which responded to the scene.
