A win for voting rights! A federal judge in Massachusetts has expanded her earlier ruling against key parts of Trump’s executive order targeting mail voting, blocking enforcement of the order for the 2026 midterms. The judge again emphasized a basic constitutional point that the president does not get to unilaterally rewrite how elections are run. That authority belongs to the states and Congress. She also pushed back on Trump’s repeated claims of widespread voter fraud, noting that the government has failed to provide “evidentiary support of illegal or fraudulent absentee voting.”
