I didn’t know this… In October 2022, President Biden directed the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Attorney General to conduct a scientific review of how marijuana is scheduled under federal law. By May 16, 2024, Biden formally announced that the Justice Department would move to reclassify marijuana from Schedule I (the same category as heroin and LSD) to Schedule III (a category for drugs with a currently accepted medical use, like Tylenol with codeine or ketamine). So, did BIDEN actually reclassify it already? I am a bit confused.
