LPD Animal Protection took pavement and concrete surface temperatures while it was 96 degrees outside. Pavement temps went as high as 140 and concrete as high as 126 degrees. Our pets can’t tell us when their paws are hot, so please be careful walking them outdoors on these hot days. Thank you.
