It’s that time of year again, when people are trying to figure out just *what exactly* all of those Medicare options and terms mean, so here is my plain English write-up of Medicare, (dis)Advantage, etc.:

This was very helpful. Because I am still fully employed and on my employers insurance plan, I only had to sign up for part A now and will not be penalized when I sign up for part B as long as I do it within a 2 month (?) window of not being on my employers insurance any longer. I can tackle the part D and Medigap PLANS at that time, but I have so far thought plan G was going to be best for me as well.
