INSTALLMENT #3 IN THE MAXWELL EVIDENCE COURT FILES I FOUND! 645 MORE PAGES *NOT* IN THE DOJ OR HOUSE FILES!
Ready for another massive batch of Maxwell files? Installment number 3 is a 645-page file containing transcripts from Maxwell’s original trial, transcripts of direct and cross -examination of victims and witnesses, excerpts from various court documents, excerpts from books that were admitted into evidence, and lots and lots more. Again, 645 pages in all (included for Notes from the Front members). Between this one and installments 1 and 2 that’s over *1400* pages, and we’re not even close to done!
In addition to the sorts of documents listed above, there is a chain of unredacted emails between federal prosecutor Amanda Kramer and various victims’ attorneys and other attorneys, hand-written notes on a legal pad from a meeting between Kramer and victims’ attorneys, typed notes of another such meeting, and (holy cow) dozens of pages of a deposition of Bill Barr regarding how he was or wasn’t involved in the whole Epstein matter (this deposition was taken just *6 months ago*!). And *so* much more!
I personally found a transcript from a bit of the closing argument by the prosecution in Maxwell’s original trial to be very interesting, and revealing. Clearly the defense had tried to say, among other things, that a) the witnesses made up their stories after seeing other witnesses’ in the media, and b) that lawyers got together and made up stories about Maxwell. Remember that the lawyers can say almost *anything* in opening and closing arguments. So here the prosecution is rebutting what the defense was suggesting:
“Turning to the lawyers. There is not a shred of evidence that a group of lawyers got together, made up a story about Maxwell, and then implanted it into these witnesses’ minds. Remember, each witness had a different lawyer. So for this theory to work, four different attorneys had to come up with this story and they separately manipulate their clients into perjuring themselves at a federal trial all so they could get a cut of the Epstein Victim Compensation Fund. That makes no sense for a bunch of different reasons. For one thing, Annie told you that her lawyer is pro bono, working for free.”
