A major win for the resistance! Republicans just caved. Senate and House GOP leaders struck a last-minute deal Wednesday to reopen the Department of Homeland Security as early as Thursday reviving the same bipartisan agreement Trump and House Republicans furiously torpedoed just days ago. The funding runs through September 30, and notably strips out money for Trump’s immigration enforcement machinery.
